August 19 | Forest Cruisin’ on Big (Boyd/Chiminis) Island
Learn the tricks to identify the leaves, bark and twigs of some of the dozens of tree species with an expert forester on Big (Boyd/Chiminis) Island. Put your new skills to work while we cruise the forest for one forest giant that’s disappearing from Ontario, the Butternut tree. This educational excursion will interest anyone that wants to learn more about the trees they pass when they’re out for a walk in the woods.
